The Dresden Kings have their backs against the wall after a Game #4 loss to the Lakeshore Canadiens on Sunday night in Dresden.

Despite jumping out to a 2-0 lead after one period of play, the #3 ranked Kings couldn’t fend off the #2 seeded Canadiens the rest of the way.

Lakeshore scored three straight goals in the second period before adding an empty net goal in the dying seconds of the final frame, securing a 4-2 win.

The Canadiens now lead the best-of-seven Stobbs Division semi-final playoff series, 3-1.

Nolen Vandenboorn and Dawson Winchester scored the Dresden goals.

Brett Bochu made 24 saves in the loss.

Game #5 takes place on Tuesday, Feb 26 in Lakeshore at 7 p.m.

If necessary, Game #6 will be held on Friday, March 1 in Dresden at 7:30 p.m. and Game #7 will be held on Saturday, March 2 in Lakeshore at 7 p.m.
