Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 2, a man was located and arrested at Walmart in Wallaceburg on several outstanding warrants.
Incident to arrest a small amount of drugs were found in the man’s pocket and he was subsequently charged with possession under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Several pieces of property was also found on him, which were believed to have been stolen from local businesses.
The matter is still under investigation.
