The Wallaceburg Tartans girls hockey team captured the LKSSAA crown last week.
The Tartans won the ‘AA’ final over Petrolia by a score of 2-0.
“Made history in the ‘Burg today,” Tom Peel, head coach of the team posted on social media on Tuesday, February 26.
“These girls are awesome.”
This was the Tartans first ever girls hockey championship.
The squad is off to Tecumseh today, Monday, March 4, vying for the SWOSSAA championship.
