Chatham-Kent OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Chatham recovered two stolen motor vehicles within six hours of each other on March 13, 2019 on Highway 401.
Investigation led officers to a male who was at a nearby truck stop.
Information revealed that this male was currently wanted on a warrant from elsewhere in Ontario. The male was arrested at the scene.
Further information revealed that the male had been in possession of both stolen vehicles.
A 39-year-old Windsor man was charged with the following offences;
– Breach of Recognizance
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
– Theft of Motor Vehicle
He will appear in a Chatham court on April 5, 2019 to answer to the charges.
