Police still investigating WDSS threat

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers is looking for information, as police continue to investigate a threatening note found at WDSS.

“On Thursday, February 28th, 2019 a note threatening an individual
at the Wallaceburg District Secondary School was discovered,” Crime Stoppers officials said in their weekly ‘Crime of the Week’ media release.

“The victim was advised of the threat and, in the interest of safety, the school was closed the following day. Incidents such as this are very serious and the police continue to investigate the threat.”

Crime Stoppers officials added: “Crime Stoppers is seeking your anonymous
information that can identify the persons responsible.”
