Robbery at Sarnia convenience store (Photos)

Sarnia Police Service officials allege: On March 16, 2019, at approximately 4:40 a.m., members of the Sarnia Police Service responded to a robbery at a local convenience store at the intersection of Exmouth Street and Capel Street.

Upon police arrival the suspect had left the area.

The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt or jacket and was concealing his face with what was believed to be a mask.

The suspect is believed to be wearing ¾ high brown boots with white soles and laces which were not laced up.

The suspect fled the store with a quantity of cash.

The suspect is believed to be a male and was carrying some sort of tool.

OPP K9 attended and assisted in a track of the area which assisted in locating some evidence.
