‘Coffee with a Cop’ in Wallaceburg this morning

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are inviting the public to join them on Wednesday, March 20 for a ‘Coffee with a Cop’ event in Wallaceburg.

The event will be held between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. at McDonald’s on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.

“No agenda or speeches, just a chance to have a casual conversation over a cup of coffee,” police officials said in a media release.

“Each guest that comes in to chat with us will receive one free small coffee courtesy of McDonald’s.”

The Chatham-Kent Police Service held a similar event in Chatham earlier this year.

Blood donor clinic in Wallaceburg tomorrow

A blood donor clinic is being held in Wallaceburg on Thursday.

The clinic is being held at the UAW Hall, 88 Elm Drive South, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
