CKPS Receive #ConvoPlate

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say last week, Zack Rank, president of Thames Student Inc for St Clair College – Thames Campus presented the Chatham-Kent Police Service with the Paul Hansell Foundation #ConvoPlate in support of mental health and well-being of our youth.

Starting at Mohawk College in Hamilton, this plate has been exchanged between people and organizations who champion mental health awareness. The purpose of the plate is to keep the conversation going and to raise awareness of the need for mental health initiatives.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service is committed to improving outcomes for those suffering from mental health issues and illnesses. We will continue to work with our community partners in an effort to break the stigma and encourage those who need help to access local mental health services.

The Chatham-Kent Police will be passing on the #ConvoPlate in May during Mental Health Week. The lucky recipient(s) will be announced then.
