Louise Hereygers of Wallaceburg

Mrs. Louise Johanna Hereygers, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at C.K.H.A. “Public General Campus”, in Chatham, at the age of 94.

Louise was a daughter of the late Ernest and Maria ( Koyen ) Neefs.

Beloved wife of the late Case Hereygers (1958).

Dear companion of the late Kees Verheyen (1981).

Loving mother of John (Julia) Hereygers and Kathy (Doug) Smith.

Sadly missed by her grandchildren Lesley (Jordan), Kyle (Laura), Tina (Keith), Stacy and Kristin (Derrick) and her great grandchildren Kallie, Natalie, Abbie, Seth, Paige and Brayden.

Kind sister of Catherine Jablonski, Jack Neefs, Johan (Nel) Neefs and Julia Van Ryckvdsel. Fondly remembered by her kitchen card partner Michelle, and by many nieces and nephews.

Sister-in-law of Jean (Fred) Brunschot, Alfonse Hereygers, Lisa Hunter and Mike Schopf.

She predeceased by 3 siblings. Emiele, Riet and Correke.

Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 4, 2019 from Holy Family Church, in Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg will follow.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue or the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
