Janet Elaine Forgie, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully in Chatham on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the age of 75.
Elaine is the daughter of the late David and Jemima (Newell) Forgie. Loved sister of Jim & Ruth Forgie and the late Mary & Lloyd Bishop, Nan & Roy Goodman, Flo & Wilfred Simpson, Ena Forgie and Jack & Deanna Forgie. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Elaine had retired from St. Clair Technologies after 30 years of employment. She was a very generous soul who enjoyed her church, Knox Presbyterian, several town prayer groups and her friends and neighbours.
The funeral will be celebrated at 1:30 PM on Monday, April 8 at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. The family will receive family and friends in the hour prior. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
