Drug bust executed in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just before dawn yesterday morning, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Intelligence Unit and Critical Incident Response Team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence on Patteson Avenue in Chatham.

As a result of the search, officers located a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine and oxycodone with an estimated street value of approximately $4,400.

Officers also located drug related paraphernalia and over $5,000 in cash.

A 54-year-old man, a 54-year-old woman and 52-year-old woman, all of Chatham, were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine and possession of oxycodone.

The 52-year-old was additionally charged with failing to comply with her release conditions.

She was transported to the Courthouse for a bail hearing where she was released pending a future court date of April 23, 2019.

The other two suspects were released from police headquarters pending a future court date of April 25, 2019.
