The Waste & Recycling Services Department would like to remind residents who receive curbside collection that the municipality has a two-stream recycling program and recycling boxes with mixed recyclables will not be collected.
Municipal officials say eligible cans/plastics/glass are to be placed in the blue box while fibre materials such as newspaper, flattened down cereal boxes, paper beverage cartons are to be placed in the black box.
Additional recycling boxes are available free of charge at all Municipal Service Centres.
