OPP: Rural B&E’s being investigated in Lambton

Lambton OPP officials allege: The Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating several rural residential break and enters that occurred between the 12th and 15th of April, 2019.

On April 12, 2019 in the late evening hours, suspects attended the 6000 Block of Oil Springs Line, Brooke-Alvinston Township and entered two separate residences.

As well, on the 12th and 13th April, 2019 the OPP investigated two additional residential break and enters that occurred on Smith and Stanley Lines, St. Clair Township.

On April 15, 2019 suspects returned to both addresses on Oil Springs Line in order to steal additional items.

While at one of the properties, the home owner was able to interrupt the theft at which time the suspects fled in a black 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe with dark tinted windows, over sized tires and a light bar attached to the front bumper.

The home owner was able to provide the OPP with the location and description of the suspect vehicle.

A short time later, the OPP located the suspect vehicle and made an attempt to safely stop same.

The suspect vehicle failed to stop resulting in the suspects avoiding apprehension.

At all of the break and enters items such as cash, jewelry, laptops, various electronics, hand and power tools were stolen.

The OPP is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the occupants of the Chevrolet Tahoe between the 12th and 15th April, 2019.
