A fog advisory has been issued, as near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.

Environment Canada officials say winds will become light this evening.

“With all the moisture on the ground from the recent rain, conditions are favourable for the formation of fog,” forecasters say.

“Widespread fog is expected to develop later this evening and persist well into Sunday morning. Fog should dissipate by noon Sunday. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.”
