Tickets handed out in ‘Community Safety Zone’

Several tickets have been handed out in the new 40 km/h ‘Community Safety Zone’ on Murray Street in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say yesterday, the Traffic Unit conducted speed enforcement along the stretch of road in front of Holy Family Catholic School.

“In just under two hours, 27 tickets were issued to drivers,” police officials said in a media release.

“A reminder for all motorists: SLOW DOWN.”
