In partnership with Pitch-In Canada and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, the Downtown Wallaceburg BIA will be celebrating Earth Week with a Downtown Community Clean-Up on Saturday April 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Bags and gloves will be provided.
The BIA is asking anyone interested to meet at the Fountain Park to take part for all or part of the time.
“We are also excited to announce that we will be launching our Downtown Wallaceburg BIA Garden Club at this event,” organizers say.
“Garden Club Memberships will be available for $5 and will include a special Membership Appreciation Package. We are planting the seed to grow our very own Horticultural Society so would love to have your participation.”
The BIA is also encouraging everyone to wear green for the event.
