Construction is set to start back up along Elgin Street in Wallaceurg this week.
The work will result in a full closure, with only local traffic and emergency vehicles allowed up to the work site.
The closure will be in effect between Gordon Street and Linden Drive.
The work is expected to run from Monday, May 6 at 7 a.m. until Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m.
Municipal officials say crews will be raising manholes and catch basins.
The project began last spring and the following work was to be completed:
– Replacement of watermain and service connections
– Replacement of sanitary sewers and service connections
– Replacement of storm sewers, catch basins and service connections
– Reconstruction of concrete curb and sidewalks, site restoration and surface asphalt
Municipal officials say crews will also be starting preparation work to fix the sidewalks in the area.
