Police: Trailer stolen, mischief, B&E’s

Theft of trailer

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, unknown suspects stole a 14 foot open trailer used for moving lawn equipment from a residence on Base Line just outside of Wallaceburg.

The trailer was last seen with Ontario license plate M67 431 and is valued at $2,000.

Woman charged with mischief

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday morning, police responded to a mischief complaint at an apartment building on Thames Street in Chatham.

Through investigation, police identified the woman responsible for spray painting two surveillance cameras mounted outside an apartment door.

Last night, a 28-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000.

She was released pending a future court date of May 23, 2019.

Executed warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police located a man wanted for breaching his Probation Order.

The 40-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, police arrested a man wanted by London Police Service.

The 38-year-old Chatham man was turned over to London officers for court purposes.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 1, 2019 the man failed to attend for his fingerprints.

The man also failed to attend court the next day.

Early this morning, police located the man in the downtown core and he was arrested.

A 49-year-old Chatham man was released pending a future court date of May 21, 2019.

Break and enter in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime over the last couple days, unknown suspects forced their way into Electronics Recycler on Keil Drive and stole various items, including a speaker box, bicycle and light bulbs.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $550.

Theft in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Monday at 10 p.m. and yesterday at 8 a.m. unknown suspects forced their way into a shed on Primrose Lane and stole a Ridgid power drill and tackle box.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $750.
