Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials allege: Sometime overnight on Wednesday May 15, unknown suspects entered the basement laundry room area of at Wallace Street and stole a white ‘coin-matic’ industrial sized front loading washing machine.
Value of the washing machine has been estimated at $2000.
A second washing machine was also damaged as they attempted to remove coins from the machine, causing about $500 damage.
Crime Stoppers is seeking information that can identify the persons responsible for this theft.
