Chatham-Kent EMS, along with Medavie Health Services, and the Paramedic Chiefs of Canada are pleased to recognize Paramedic Services Week across Canada from May 26 to June 1, 2019.
National Paramedic Services Week being celebrated
National Paramedic Services Week celebrates the caring professional paramedics in Canada. Local recognition of this week showcases the integral role Chatham-Kent EMS and its Paramedics (Frontline and Community Paramedics) plays in keeping our community safe, healthy and strong through community-based programs, mobile integrated health, and our training and educational initiatives.
Every year, a different theme is used in the Paramedic Services Week promotional material: this year’s theme is “Celebrating Success”.
Please join us for one of our two open houses events where residents and community partners can learn more about Paramedic Services through ambulance tours, equipment displays and demonstrations as well as information on our Cool-Aid and Community Paramedicine initiatives.
