Man charged with uttering threats

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, a man attended a family member’s home in Tilbury.

When he was not allowed entry, the man yelled and threatened the woman inside the home.

Officers located the man a short distance away and he was arrested.

The 28-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with uttering threats.

He was transported to the Courthouse pending a bail hearing.

Woman charged with impaired driving

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Around 5:30 p.m. yesterday, emergency crews responded to a two vehicle collision on Marlborough Street South in Blenheim.

Through investigation, police believed the woman was driving while under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested.

The woman was transported to police headquarters for breath tests.

A 56-year-old Blenheim woman has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.

She was released pending a future court date of July 12, 2019.

Total damage was estimated at $15,000.

Man found in possession of stolen e-bike

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime last night between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. unknown suspects stole a red Daymak e-bike, valued at $2,000, from a residence on Eighth Street in Chatham.

Through investigation, police located the stolen e-bike in possession of a man on Queen Street.

A 52-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.

He was released pending a future court date of July 12, 2019.

Executed warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police located a woman wanted in connection with a couple shoplifting incidents at Walmart in Chatham and fraud related offences.

A 54-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and released pending a future court date of July 24, 2019.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police arrested a man wanted for breaching his Probation Order, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failing to comply with his release conditions.

The 25-year-old Wallaceburg man was transported to the Courthouse pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, an officer on general patrol initiated a traffic stop on Erie Street South.

A woman, wanted for failing to attend for her fingerprints, was found in the vehicle.

The 39-year-old Wheatley woman was arrested and released pending a future court date of July 31, 2019.

Through investigation, police learned that the woman was also wanted by OPP.

She was subsequently turned over to OPP for court purposes.
