PTSD Awareness Day being recognized in CK

Ontario is making history in mental health awareness in the province by officially recognizing PTSD Awareness Day tomorrow, June 27, 2019.

PTSD is a type of anxiety disorder that can appear following a traumatic event in one’s life. It can affect victims or witnesses of distressful occurrences such as natural disasters, crimes, or major accidents.

Join your first responders of Chatham-Kent on Thursday, as they rally together to support PTSD Awareness Day.

A BBQ lunch will be held in front of Fire Station #1 on Second Street in Chatham from 11:00am to 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
