CKHA Foundation 50/50 draw largest in C-K history

The 50/50 draw for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation is now the largest 50/50 jackpot in Chatham-Kent’s history.

The current record of $168,000 was set last September, with the winner
getting $89,045.00, the current total of the CKHAF’s 50/50 draw has now eclipsed $100,000 with the draw closing Thursday at 12 p.m.

“We simply cannot believe the over whelming support from the community” stated Mary Lou Crowley, President and CEO of the CKHA Foundation, in a media release.

Carson Warrener, VP Sales and Marketing for Maple City Homes who is a presenting sponsor for the draw said Chatham-Kent is an amazingly generous community.

“When CK is asked to step up they always come through and then some,” he said in a media release.

Robb Nelson, CEO of AgriRoots Capital Management Inc., the other presenting sponsor said they were extremely proud to have been involved in this initiative from day one.

“As corporate sponsors we try to support fundraising opportunities that will directly affect the residents of Chatham-Kent,” Nelson said in a press release.

“We are so proud of how Chatham-Kent has come together to support this cause, and getting this key piece of equipment for the CKHA healthcare team will save lives.”

The lucky winning ticket will be drawn Thursday, June 27 at 1 p.m., at the Maple City Homes office located at 53 St. Clair Street in Chatham.

Purchasing tickets in person can be done at the foundation office located at 9 Ursuline Ave, in Chatham, or by credit card online at ckhaf.ca.
