What’s your attitude?

From The Pastor’s Pen – By Brian Horrobin

It has been said that attitude is the difference between an ordeal and an adventure.

If the alarm clock goes off on a Monday morning and you find yourself saying, “I hate Mondays!” then you’ve just set yourself up for a long day ahead.

If, however, after adjusting to the pre-dawn darkness you find yourself quietly thankful that you have a job to go to, then your Monday suddenly becomes more like Friday.

It’s all in the attitude.

Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he thinks within himself, so he is…”

The root meaning of the word “thinks” in this verse means to open a gate and act as a gatekeeper.

In other words, your attitude and how you think about something will determine the path to its outcome.

If your attitude toward something is bad it opens the gate to an ordeal, but if your attitude is good, then it opens the gate toward an adventure.

So, let me ask you, what are you up for today, an ordeal or an adventure?

The decision is all yours!

Use it wisely!
