Canada Day birdhouse winner announced

The winner of a special Canada Day-themed birdhouse was Ric Campbell.

“I wish to thank everyone whom supported my fundraiser,” said Deb Brewer, who created the birdhouse and launched the fundraiser.

“Together we raised a total of $1,705 which was shared between Baby Dylan Wilbur and the Terry Fox Foundation.”

Brewer said she wanted to send out a special thanks to Brad and Moira of New Vision Optical, the Sydenham Current, 99.1 CKXS, the Courier Press and all of her family and friends.

“I couldn’t have done it without you,” she said.
