Man arrested on warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 12th, 2019 a 36-year- old Wallaceburg Man was located during a suspicious person complaint.

The man was found to have an outstanding warrant for Breach of Probation and Failing to Attend Court.

The man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Court House for a bail hearing.

Traffic stop leads to multiple charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 12th, 2019 a traffic stop was initiated by a Chatham-Kent Police officer.

A 26 year old woman was operating the motor vehicle and had passengers of a 30 year old man, 60 year old man and a 32 year old man.

The 32 year old man was found to have eleven outstanding warrants and was arrested.

Search incident to arrest yielded suspected Heroin on the 32 year old and he was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance.

While police spoke with the driver a loaded syringe was viewed in plain sight inside the vehicle.

The contents are believed to be Heroin.

As a result of this the remaining three passengers were also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

These three occupants were released with a future court date.

The 32 year old man was held pending a bail hearing.
