‘Legacy Project’ screening taking place in Sarnia

A couple originally from Wallaceburg are set to showcase a series of films they’ve created at a special screening in Sarnia this week.

‘While I’m Here: The Legacy Project’ is a personal project by Director Brent Foster, Producer Tammy Foster and a team of passionate filmmakers.

“(They) have volunteered their time and energy to make this project come to life,” organizers say.

“Together, they have travelled the globe and created a series of short films profiling everyday humans with extraordinary stories. The evening will include a screening of six film shorts and be followed by a discussion with Foster Visuals about behind-the-scenes challenges of their passion project and the influence photojournalism had on their aesthetic.”

The event will be held at the Juditha & Norman Alex Art Gallery this Thursday, July 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The short films, include: San Diego Highwayman; Mississippi Bluesman Leo ‘Bud’ Welch; Healing Waters; Nalongo; The Last Mambabtok; Enough: The Empowered Women of Korogocho
