The inaugural Otter Creek Jam Fest was held in Wallaceburg on the weekend.

Iconic Canadian rocker Tom Cochrane with Red Rider wrapped up the festival on Saturday night, August 3, while fellow Juno Award winning rock band, Trooper headlined the main stage for the opening day of the festival on Friday night, August 2.

While the numbers are still being crunched, organizers are thrilled with the turn-out.

“(Tom Cochrane) puts on an amazing show,” Otter Creek Jam Fest officials said on social media.

“Thank you to all the talent at #ottercreekjamfest and everyone who attended. It was an epic weekend! A huge thank you to Dennis DeBot and the team behind the event, our sponsors and everyone who helped make Otter Creek Jam Fest 2019 a success.”

“When you surround yourself with good people… good things happen,” added Bill Wolsing, co-producer, on social media.

Aaron Hall, a co-producer and a Wallaceburg Councillor, said pulling off the event was a total team effort.
