Busy summer at the Wallaceburg Library

By Rori Bennett – Junior Reporter

The Wallaceburg Branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library has been offering a variety of free programs and activities throughout the summer to help keep kids reading and learning.

These programs and activities have been made possible by community members, clubs, and service groups.

One such program, ‘Friends of the Forest’, ran at the end of July.

From morning until evening, there were crafts and a scavenger hunt.

As well, a story time took place for children ages five and under.

A representative from the Dresden Agricultural board also brought a rabbit, for children to see, pet, and learn about.
