International Overdose Awareness Day
August 31, 2019 International Overdose Awareness Day is an opportunity to remember loved ones lost to overdose. Our message is simple – the tragedy of overdose death is preventable and more must be done to save lives.
Chatham-Kent is offering FREE walk-in training sessions at Studio One in the Chatham Cultural Centre on August 29, 2019.
The schedule for the day is:
1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Overdose response training:
2 sessions. All participants will receive a free naloxone kit.
No ID, health card required. Just show up!
Memorial for those who have lost their lives due to an overdose.
7:00 p.m. at Studio One in the Chatham Cultural Centre.
