Woman arrested for theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:40 a.m. a 25-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for two counts of theft under $5,000.

At 12:10 p.m. the woman was released with a future court date.

At 2:13 p.m. police responded to a theft at an LCBO location.

This same woman was located and arrested for theft under $5,000.

She was held pending a bail hearing.

Woman arrested for being intoxicated

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 3:33 p.m. police responded to a location in Tilbury to assist EMS with a possible medical emergency.

A 42-year-old woman was unconscious on a public bench.

Upon being examined by paramedics and police it was discovered the woman was heavily intoxicated by alcohol.

It was determined the woman could not care for herself and she was held in custody until sober.

Man arrested on warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 7:24 p.m. a 39-year-old man was located at an address in Chatham.

The man was known to be wanted and was arrested on a warrant for breach of probation.

He was held pending a bail hearing.
