Two men arrested from ‘Wanted List’
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police located a man on Park Street in Chatham wanted for mischief under $5,000, failing to attend for his fingerprints and failing to attend court.
The 30-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released pending a future court date of October 18, 2019.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in Chatham.
Through investigation, a man from the ‘Wanted List’ was located.
The 36-year-old Chatham man was arrested for breaching his Probation Order, assault and failing to attend court.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Woman charged with failing to comply
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle parked behind a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Through investigation, officers located a woman sleeping in the vehicle, who was wanted for failing to comply with her release conditions.
The 28-year-old woman was arrested and charged.
She was released pending a future court date of October 18, 2019.
Theft of tools in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning, unknown suspects entered a small engine repair shop on Creek Road and stole:
– Computer with 15” screen
– Computer with 17” screen
– MSI Computer with GE62 Gaming Series
– 32” flat screen Westinghouse Smart TV
– 3 in 1 Titanium Welder 120/240 volt with two tanks – green in colour
– Generator
– Torque wrenches and air tools
– Various other tools
– Oakdale cigarettes and cash
Total value of the theft has been estimated at $30,000 to $40,000.
