William Anthony: born June 14, 1942; died October 16, 2019. Proud and loving husband of the late Reverend Grace Coleman Anthony and of their sons Ian and Marge, Alan and Karma, and Owen and Jennifer. Loving grandfather to Jessica, Matthew, David, Caraline, Emily, Laura, Amy, Eliza and Charlotte.
Bill was the son of Rose Burgess Anthony and Dr George Anthony. Predeceased by brother Herb and his wife Bev.
Special friend to Helen Harris.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from Ferris State College, Big Rapids, Michigan and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario but mainly worked in maintenance.
He owned T&B Dock and Marine and its affiliate Anthony Contracting; an excavating business.
Bill had a love of history and was a collector of WW II vehicles, as well as cars, trucks, tractors and boats.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and caregivers who provided such love and care to Bill.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from St. James Anglican Church, in Wallaceburg, at 11 a.m.
