Remembrance Day Events
Wallaceburg
On Saturday the 9th the HG is attending at Fairfield Park at 11 am for a time of remembrance. Later they are at the puck dropping at the arena – just before the start of the game at 8.
Sunday is the Church Parade when the HG will assemble previous to the service at 10. This takes place at Pt. Lambton United Church. A little later at 1pm there is a service at Oaks Retirement.
Then Monday of course are the Remembrance Day services starting at 9:30 at WDSS then parade to cenotaph for 11am. After everyone is invited back to the Legion for a light lunch.
Dresden
Sunday November 10 – Service of Remembrance. Dresden Community Church 1 pm
Monday November 11 – Remembrance Day Service. The Cenotaph 11 am
Monday November 11 – Remembrance Banquet. The Dresden Legion 6:30 pm. Tickets $13 pp available at the Branch or call 519 – 683 – 4862.
Walpole Island
Friday November 8th starting at 10 am at the Bkejwanong Children’s Centre and heading down to the cenotaph.
