Lord Selkirk Bridge set to open

Officials with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent say the Lord Selkirk Bridge in Wallaceburg will be open to two lanes of vehicular traffic and one sidewalk for pedestrian traffic at 6 p.m. today, November 13.

“There will be ongoing minor works being completed at the bridge for approximately the next three weeks that will have minor intermittent traffic impacts,” Municipal officials said in a media release.

“The ongoing works include installation of guide rails, railings on the bridge, as well as operational testing, commissioning and balancing of the spans.”
