Wendel Clark, other Maple Leafs alumni coming to Wallaceburg

The Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association is partnering with the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Association to host an alumni game on Saturday, March 7, 2020.

“More details coming soon,” Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association officials stated on socila media.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing this event to our community.”

Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association officials said they have been “overwhelmed with the positive response” since posting about the game earlier this week.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with questions,” Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association officials stated.

“We announced the date in advance as we were already fielding questions before any official announcement. We will be setting up an event page for everyone who is interested to follow along on updates.”

Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association officials added: “We’ve received plenty of questions about alumni players, tickets, packages, meet and greet opportunities and more. As this information is official we will post it to our event page.”

The Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association has confirmed there will be at least 10 Leafs alumni visiting, there will be meet and greet opportunities between periods and a special post game activity.

“We will have opportunities to play against and even an opportunity to play with the Leafs alumni,” Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association said.

“Before we shift to an event page for official announcements we will confirm one Leafs Alumni who will be visiting us at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena… Wendel Clark.”
