Dresden Kings win three straight

The Dresden Junior Kings won three straight games last week, ending a streak of eight straight losses.

Dresden topped Amherstburg 6-5 on Sunday.

Tanner Cole, of Wallaceburg, led the Kings with 2 goals and 2 assists. Matt Gaudrault and Tyler Fish also scored two goals for Dresden, who were outshot by the Admirals 41-26.

Aiden Lucyk made 36 saves to earn the victory.

The Kings topped Wallaceburg on Friday by a score of 3-2. Cole, Fish and Kenny Chisholm all scored for Dresden.

Last Thursday, Dresden beat Petrolia 5-2. Fish had 2 goals and 1 assist to lead the Kings.

Dresden is now 7-11-0-1 on the season, good for 6th place in the West Stobbs Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

Dresden will hit the road to face the first place Lakeshore Canadiens on Friday night, November 22.

Puck drops at 7 p.m.
