Lambton OPP officials allege: On November 20, 2019 at approximately 3:25 p.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Sarnia Fire Department, Sarnia Police Service and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on Highway 402 westbound, west of Christina Street North, City of Sarnia.
Lambton OPP arrived on scene and observed three tractor trailers and a commercial van involved in a collision.
The driver of the van was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two drivers of the tractor trailers were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
OPP West Region Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are on scene to assist with the investigation.
Highway 402 westbound was set to be closed at Indian Road for several hours.
The OPP continue to investigate.
