Police: Theft, disturb the peace, MVC’s

Theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday, November 30, 2019 at approximately 12:30 p.m., police were dispatched to attend the area of 791 St. Clair Street, Chatham, in response to a call of a theft.

Investigation revealed that 33 year old female from Dresden stole a smart watch, tablet and other electronics.

She was arrested, charged with Theft and Possession Under $5,000 and later released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date to answer to the charge.

Disturb the peace

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday, November 30, 2019 at approximately 9 p.m., police were dispatched to attend the area of 80 Grand Avenue West, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

A highly intoxicated Blenheim man was located, causing a disturbance.

Found unable to care for himself, the 34 year old male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place, and lodged until sober.

Motor vehicle collisions

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police responded to eight motor vehicle collisions yesterday.

Safe and responsible driving is everyone’s responsibility.
