Students at St. Elizabeth Catholic School in Wallaceburg will be treated to three healthy salad bar lunches in 2020, thanks to two grants from Chatham-Kent Public Health.
“We are excited by this partnership with Chatham-Kent Public Health,” stated St. Elizabeth Catholic School Principal, Stacy Shepley.
“Our goal is to offer some food items that students might not have tried before. Getting our students to explore new healthy options will be our focus.”
Chatham-Kent Public Health has partnered with a number of schools across Chatham-Kent in the salad bar initiative.
