Executed warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, a man wanted for drug possession, failing to attend court and for his fingerprints was arrested by Walpole Island Police.

He was turned over to officers from Chatham-Kent Police in Wallaceburg.

A 30-year-old Walpole Island man was released pending a future court date of December 19, 2019.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, a woman wanted in connection with two separate shoplifting incidents at Walmart in Chatham and failing to attend court turned herself in to police.

A 55-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and released pending a future court date of December 24, 2019.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, an officer on general patrol observed a man riding his bicycle in Chatham with no light.

The officer stopped the man for this offence and through investigation learned that he was wanted for fraud related offences.

A 24-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released pending a future court date of December 18, 2019.

Theft of tools

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, unknown suspects stole various tools from a building on Longwoods Road in Thamesville.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday night, unknown suspects forced their way into a utility trailer parked on Rose Beach Line and stole various tools valued at $1,000.
