Man charged with breaching his curfew

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 11 p.m. last night, police responded to a business on Park Avenue in Chatham in regards to a suspicious man.

Through investigation, police learned that the man was currently bound by a Probation Order with a curfew condition of 10 p.m.

The 23-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with failing to comply.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Executed warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, a man wanted for failing to attend court earlier this month was arrested at the Courthouse.

The 26-year-old Chatham man was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police located a man in Wheatley who was wanted on several outstanding warrants.

The 26-year-old man was arrested and transported to the Courthouse pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police arrested a man wanted for failing to comply with his release conditions.

The 23-year-old Chatham man was transported to the Courthouse pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, an officer on general patrol located a man wanted in connection with a theft investigation and failing to attend court.

A 22-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released pending a future court date of January 3, 2020.

Industrial accident

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, emergency crews responded to an industrial accident at a business on Longwoods Road in Thamesville.

A 44-year-old male employee sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital for medical attention.

The Ministry of Labour was notified of the incident and will be taking over the investigation.

Motor vehicle collision

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 8:30 a.m. yesterday morning, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Keil Drive near Richmond Street in Chatham.

No one was injured.

The driver at fault was charged with making a turn not in safety.
