Firefighters are battling a blaze at a home in Charing Cross.
Chatham-Kent Fire & Emergency Services officials say crews from station #18 – Blenheim and station #16 Raleigh South have responded to the house fire on Charing Cross Road.
As of 8 a.m. this morning, firefighters are still on scene and the road remains closed in both directions in Charing Cross, between Charing Cross Road and James Street.
Fire officials say there are no injuries.
Officials are asking residents to take Highway 40 if you’re traveling toward Chatham this morning.
