Update: The owner of the boat has been located.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: This morning, officers recovered a boat behind 190 Thames Street in Chatham.
“We are looking for the public’s assistance in helping us locate the owner,” police officials said in a media release.
“If you have any information that may assist us, please contact Constable Doug Littlewood at dougl@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600 extension #87288.”
Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
