Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police located a man in Chatham who was wanted for fraud related offences and failing to attend court.

The 53-year-old man was arrested and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police arrested a man wanted for weapon related offences and failing to attend court.

The 51-year-old man of no fixed address has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Theft of computer in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early yesterday morning, unknown suspects forced their way into North Element on Garnet Street, causing about $400 damage.

Once inside, the suspects stole a desktop computer.

Theft of tools in Dover Township

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime over the weekend, unknown suspects entered a home under construction on Grande River Line and stole about $700 worth of various tools.

Motor vehicle collision

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 6 p.m. last night, emergency crews responded to a two vehicle collision on Victoria Avenue between McNaughton Avenue and Wiltshire Drive in Chatham.

One person was transported to hospital as a precaution.

The driver at fault, was charged with an offence contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

Total damage was estimated at $5,000.
