Domestic dispute leads to charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Chatham.

A 35-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with assault. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Unwanted person call

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 11 p.m. last night, police were dispatched to a call of an unwanted person at a Richmond Street business.

Investigation revealed that a 23-year-old Chatham man was subject to a Probation order with a curfew of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The man was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at approximately 3 p.m., police were dispatched to a Lorne Avenue address in Chatham responding to a call of a break and enter.

Through investigation it was discovered that sometime since Wednesday, January 22, 2020 unknown suspects forced their way into the vacant residence causing damage to the inside.
