Roselyn Mutch

Mrs. Roselyn (Rose) Marie Denison Mutch – originally of Deseronto, resident of Ridgetown passed away peacefully in hospital surrounded by family after a short and courageous battle with cancer on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the age of 66.

Roselyn was born in Kingston the daughter of Rose (Wagar) and the late Gerald Lawlor.

She is survived by her devoted husband Murray Mutch whom she married on February 14, 1992.

Loving mother of Allen Denison (Billie Jo Mark) and Angela (Phil) Van Beveren. Step mother of Erin Mutch.

Nanny of Brandon Gartland (Cassandra Tripp), Cassadi Gartland, Carter, Ryan & Evan Denison.

Sister of Beverly Lawlor, Kevin (Margaret Whyton) Lawlor, Karen (Lloyd) Starling, Lynn (Bill) Johnston and Susan (Roger) Bryden.

Sister-in-law of Bonnie (Dave) Rabe, Doug Mutch and Larry (Brenda) Mutch.

Loved and missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Donald & Dorothy Mutch.

Rose was well respected throughout her career in the insurance industry in Kitchener/Waterloo, Kingston and later in Chatham. She enjoyed spearheading fundraisers, trips and tournaments for her church, community and numerous charities. In retirement, Rose found passion serving on the board for the Morpeth Community Centre and Heritage Club. She also enjoyed weekly card making and coffee club with a few close friends. She treasured time with her family, sharing laughs and creating memories above all. A trusted and loyal friend to many whose witty humour will be missed.

The family would like to thank Dr. Misra and Dr. Haddad and all the staff at Chatham-Kent Hospital 4th floor.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements organized by the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Morpeth Community Centre, Peace Christian Church Chatham and the Chatham-Kent Hospice through the funeral home.

Friends are invited to honour the life of Rosie on Saturday February 15, 2020 at the Morpeth Community Centre, 12579 Talbot Trail Morpeth, ON N0P 1X0. Visitation 1-3 p.m. Funeral service at 3:30 with a celebration of her life to follow. Please bring your memories and stories of our Rose.
