The 23-year-old man of no fixed address was transported to the Courthouse pending a bail hearing.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police located a man on West Street in Chatham who was wanted in connection with shoplifting incidents at Walmart and Real Canadian Superstore in Chatham, failing to comply with his release conditions and failing to attend court.
The 28-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Break and enter in Wheatley
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning around 11:40 a.m. an unknown man entered Mom’s Clothing Shop on Little Street South and stole the cash register.
The man fled the area in an older style black Minivan.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30’s, approximately 5’5” with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing dark clothing with a high collar covering his chin and dark toque.

Motor Vehicle Collision in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 5 p.m. last night, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Bloomfield Road near the 401 on and off ramps.
No one was injured.
Total damage was estimated at $5,000.
A 64-year-old man was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
