Approximately $2-million damage was caused after a barn fire on Duart Road on Monday morning, October 23, 2023 at 3:55 a.m.
“Stations #10 – Orford, #11 – Ridgetown and Tanker from Station #9 – Bothwell responded to a barn fire on Duart Road,” fire officials say.
“Crews arrived on scene to a fully involved two storey barn. A defensive fire attack was taken. Firefighters remain on scene with an excavator to assist with the total extinguishment of the fire.”
Fire officials say no injuries were reported and the cause is undetermined.
