“BUSINESS OF THE WEEK”- Wallaceburg and District Museum

We had a wonderful opportunity to chat with the Ladies at the Museum. In the picture are the administrator Jill Vanzelst, Leesa Ervin the Marketing & Events Coordinator, Kaelyn Gregory the Curator, and Jill Misselbrook the Executive Director at the Chamber of Commerce. The museum, celebrating its 40th anniversary on June 29, is a significant venue for Canada Day festivities, often hosted at the Kinsmen Club. Exciting events such as Baldoon Days on September 14 and summer camps will be available this season. With ever-changing displays, there’s always something new to explore. The juried art show for children and updated educational programs aim to engage students from K-12, with a particular emphasis on encouraging teachers’ involvement. The Museum is hiring three students for the summer, eagerly anticipates the return of WAMBO, hoping the walking bridge will facilitate easier access for visitors to enjoy the festivities.
